The Cleveland Cavaliers will put their 12-game winning streak on the line against the Indiana Pacers.
Rick Carlisle’s team is scrappy and will pose a steep challenge to the Cavs’ top-ten defense.
On top of that, Kenny Atkinson’s team will most likely be without one of their key contributors for that matchup.
According to a report by Evan Dammarell, the Cavs have listed PG Ty Jerome as doubtful for the contest as he’s currently dealing with an illness.

As for Emoni Bates, JT Thor, and Luke Travers, they are on G League assignment and are unavailable.
Jerome has been one of the most important contributors to the Cavaliers this season.
He’s brought an instant offensive spark off the bench, averaging just over ten points.
Jerome should be in the mix for Sixth Man of the Year, even if his numbers aren’t as impressive as Payton Pritchard’s.
He’s also been asked to start a couple of games and has made significant progress as a scorer in those situations.
Jerome alleviates pressure from Donovan Mitchell and Darius Garland with his playmaking skills, proving that he can effectively coexist with them on the court.
Fortunately, the Cavs are a very deep team.
So, even though taking down the Pacers won’t be an easy task, much less undermanned, they should still have more than enough resources to get by and pull off a win in this conference matchup.
