Jarrett Allen is putting together a great statistical season.
He’s averaging more than 14 points per game and 10.9 rebounds per contest, and his 64.5% shooting percentage ranks second-best in the NBA.
Allen is a man on a mission, which has helped the Cleveland Cavaliers turn into the strong team they are today.
He wasn’t necessarily slated to be their No. 1 or No. 2 option coming into the year, but the Cavaliers have greatly benefitted from his services on the court.
This strong start to the year has put Allen in the spotlight, but his recent off-court actions have gotten some love over social media, as well.
As content creator Evan Dammarell highlighted on X, Allen recently spent time with 25 children from a local Cleveland school, providing them and their families with groceries ahead of the Thanksgiving season.

In today’s economical state, it is getting harder and harder for families to afford groceries every week.
Allen recognized that, and felt the need to help out in whatever way he could in the local community.
This is just one of many athletes that is doing their part to help out with a local school, hoping to bring some joy ahead of what can be a tough time for families.
With the Christmas holiday right around the corner, more and more athletes will likely be shown in the spotlight as well, this time, helping with presents, groceries, or other needs.
Athletes don’t always use their platform to help others, but in Allen’s case, he wants to do whatever he can to give back.
