The Cleveland Cavaliers have been somewhat handicapped due to a plethora of injuries since the start of the 2023-24 NBA season.
Despite having one of the most talented rosters in the NBA, the Cavs are yet to play at their full potential this year.
However, the Cavaliers haven’t let multiple injuries to their key players stop them from staying competitive so far.
The Cavs registered another crucial win during their recent matchup against the Washington Wizards.
Cavs forward Isaac Okoro shared one key takeaway from the victory against the Wizards via Bally Sports Cleveland on Twitter.
“We’re building something great. The chemistry is high,” Okoro said.

In an ideal world, the Cavaliers would have been able to play at their full strength throughout the season.
Unfortunately, it has become more of a pipe dream for the organization.
Even without key players such as Darius Garland and Evan Mobley, the Cavaliers are currently the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference and flaunt a 20-15 record this season.
While many expected the Cavaliers to struggle without their key players healthy, it has helped the team find players who can fill the void when required.
Moreover, as Okoro mentioned, it has allowed the other players on the team to form great chemistry.
That’s a win-win situation for the organization.
It won’t be a surprise if the Cavaliers manage to become the dark horse to lift the Larry O’Brien trophy in the summer of 2024 or make a deep playoff run.
