The Cleveland Cavaliers won the second-most regular-season games in franchise history in 2024-25.
Oddsmakers believe they can threaten that again next season, with their over/under win total at 55.5.
With that in mind, NBA insider Evan Sidery recently posted the Cavs’ potential starting lineup and rotation.
Unsurprisingly, he has Darius Garland and Donovan Mitchell in the backcourt, with Max Strus, Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen also in the starting five.
Then, he has Lonzo Ball, Sam Merrill, Jaylon Tyson, De’Andre Hunter and Larry Nance Jr. on the second unit.
The Cavaliers’ current projected rotation next season:
Starters: Darius Garland, Donovan Mitchell, Max Strus, Evan Mobley, Jarrett Allen
Second Unit: Lonzo Ball, Sam Merrill, Jaylon Tyson, De’Andre Hunter, Larry Nance Jr.

This essentially has newcomers Ball and Nance taking the minutes from Ty Jerome and Isaac Okoro, who left this offseason.
Dean Wade should also have a prominent role off the bench.
He’s struggled with injuries in the past, but he’s always been given big defensive assignments when healthy.
Wade is also a trade candidate because of his upcoming free agent status, and Tyson should take a bigger role in his second NBA season.
Nae’Qwan Tomlin reportedly has turned some heads this offseason, and he’s a strong candidate to crack the rotation.
Other than that, Craig Porter Jr. and rookie Tyrese Proctor will most likely battle for the third-string point guard spot, with Tristan Thompson as frontcourt insurance.
The team looks solid, and it wouldn’t be shocking to see them replicate last season’s success.
