The Cleveland Cavaliers had been the best team in the NBA for most of the season.
That’s no longer the case.
They’ve dropped four games in a row for the first time all year, and that’s not where you want to be when there’s just a handful of games left in the regular season.
Needless to say, the fans were far from pleased after their loss to the Phoenix Suns.

If I wanted to watch 4 losses in a row I'd rewatch the 2024 Browns season. Snap out of it.

The Cavs entered the game as 8.5-point favorites, but they trailed for most of the contest.
Once again, they failed to execute down the stretch.
Sloppy passes, forced shots, and defensive miscues plagued this team in the second half, and Kevin Durant’s throwback scoring performance did little to help.
Of course, the Cavs will still most likely finish the season with the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference, and they’ve already proven that they can beat anybody when they’re at their best.
Then again, you have to be worried after these four games.
It’s not just that they’ve lost; that can happen to anybody in the league, and fatigue also plays a role at this point in the season.
The way they’ve lost those games, however, is a major reason for concern.
There’s still some time to turn things around and ride some momentum into the playoffs, but they need to act swiftly and promptly before it’s too late.
