Fans React To Cavs’ Big Trade With Hawks

The Cleveland Cavaliers are already great but they could be even better after Thursday’s trade.

Shams Charania broke the news that the Atlanta Hawks were trading De’Andre Hunter to the Cavaliers for Caris LeVert, Georges Niang, three first-round draft picks, and two swaps.

Although that may seem like a lot for one player, Hunter has a lot of upside and fans were very pleased by the news.

A lot of people are elated for the Cavaliers, who are picking up a skilled star with Hunter.

This season, Hunter is averaging 19.0 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 1.5 assists on 46.1 percent from the field.

He will bring “more size, length, and versatility” to the Hawks, according to Kevin O’Connor.

Excellent deal for the Cavs. Add more size, length, and versatility in Hunter. LeVert has been great but don’t really need his shot creation compared to Hunter’s foundational traits. Worthwhile haul for the Hawks to pick up all these pieces too.

A lot of people feel this was the final move the Cavaliers needed to make to have postseason supremacy and easily rule the East.

Some people thought they wouldn’t make any trades at the deadline, but they have instead invested in a young star who could meet every need they have.
