The Cleveland Cavaliers are hoping for no tricks and a lot of treats on Tuesday night.
That’s because Tuesday features their first game against the New York Knicks following last season’s disappointing first-round exit from the playoffs.
Evan Mobley knows what this game means to the fans and he is ready to make them proud.
According to Cleveland.com, via NBACentral, Mobley said, “It’s a big game for us. We definitely really want to get this win and really put it on ’em.”

Loyal followers of the Cavaliers remember how it all went down last season, and they still shake their heads about it.
The Cavaliers had a stellar regular season and looked better than they had in years.
But that all came crashing down in the first round of the postseason when the Knicks exposed their weaknesses and dismantled them.
The loss left a very bad taste in everyone’s mouth and made people question the future of the Cavaliers.
There has been a bit of turbulence for Cleveland so far this season.
After winning their first game, they lost the next two to the Oklahoma City Thunder and Indiana Pacers.
Therefore, Tuesday night’s game is even more important.
Not only do they want to beat the Knicks because of last season, but they also want to get their record back on track.
The Cavaliers will actually have two chances to beat the Knicks this week, as they play back-to-back games against them.
Tuesday night’s game will be held at home, and then the Cavaliers will travel to the Big Apple to take the Knicks on at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday night.
The Cavaliers have a lot they want to prove and two chances to do it.
