Donovan Mitchell has done great things for the Cleveland Cavaliers since joining the team last year.
Not only has he been a dominant scorer and leader, but he has also had plenty of 20-point games.
In fact, Basketball Reference has found that Mitchell and Stephen Curry are tied for the longest active streak of 20-point regular season games, both with 21.
Mitchell’s streak started back in March of last season and continues to this day.

The other players who have long 20-point streaks include Joel Embiid, Nikola Jokic, Kevin Durant, Tyrese Maxey, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, and Lauri Markkanen.
But it is Mitchell and Curry leading the way, and that is great news for both of their respective teams.
During his time with the Cavaliers, Mitchell has averaged 28.4 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 4.5 assists.
He has stayed relatively healthy and has participated in 78 games so far.
Statistically, Mitchell is currently having the best season of his career.
He is producing an average of 29.2 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 5.3 assists per game, which is a step up from all of his previous years.
But can he keep it up for the rest of the season?
And can the Cavaliers climb higher in the standings?
Although things are tight between them and multiple other teams, Cleveland is currently 10th in the East with a 5-6 record.
Their upcoming schedule will provide some challenges.
They next face off against the Detroit Pistons, and then the Cavaliers have to play the Denver Nuggets, Philadelphia 76ers, Miami Heat, and Los Angeles Lakers.
In order to climb a bit higher in the East, Mitchell will have to keep producing more than 20 points a night and the rest of the squad will need to try their hardest to be right by his side.
