When Donovan Mitchell of the Cleveland Cavaliers really gets going, there seems to be no stopping him.
We had seen him have fiery nights a lot lately, most notably when his team recently faced off against the Los Angeles Lakers and Mitchell notched more than 40 points.
But he was on one again on Wednesday night, as his team traveled to Texas to square up against Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks.
The Mavericks can put up quite a fight, especially at home, but Mitchell wasn’t bothered or worried about them.

At the end of the game, Mitchell was again dominant as he scored 34 points, 3 rebounds, and 6 assists.
He also scored 6 three-pointers too.
His 34 was a team-high for the Cavs and it once again showed why he is now such a vital part of this crew.

Mitchell’s field goal percentage was 65% and when he gets cooking like that, no one can cool him or stop him.
The Mavericks tried their hardest but they simply did not have a defensive answer to what Mitchell was doing.
Mitchell now has an average of 29.2 points, 4 rebounds, and 4.7 assists for the season with a 50.2% field goal percentage.
He leads the team in points scored per game and has become the most pivotal part of practically every play.
The ball is always running through Mitchell and that is a very good plan by head coach JB Bickerstaff.
Mitchell has fit in with the team with complete ease and is putting up All-Star numbers already.
There wasn’t much of an adjustment period at all for this new-look team.
The Mavericks will get a chance to redeem themselves on Saturday when both teams face off against each other again.
