The Cleveland Cavaliers have won 28 of their first 32 games.
This is the best start to the season in franchise history, and they continue to sit atop both conferences with the best record.
They’ve even beaten the defending champions, the Boston Celtics, who have struggled over the past couple of weeks or so, widening the gap between both teams.
The Cavs have won in a variety of ways.
Whether it’s pushing the pace and running their opponents off the court or playing tough defense, they’ve done it all.
That’s why, when asked his thoughts on this hot start to the season, Cavs star PG Darius Garland had one simple message: All that matters is that they’re winning basketball games (via FanDuel Sports Network Cleveland).

That has been the mindset.
It’s all it takes to win.
Kenny Atkinson has done a great job of instilling confidence in his players.
Evan Mobley has taken a big leap as a scorer, and Garland has also been way more aggressive, as opposed to just standing in the corner like he used to do during the J.B. Bickerstaff days.
It can be Donovan Mitchell one day and Jarrett Allen the next one.
It can even be one of their many contributors off the bench.
It’s not about getting the numbers or the All-Star votes; it’s not even about getting touches.
It’s all about winning.
Needless to say, that’s the mindset of a championship-caliber team, and hopefully, that’s going to continue to be the case with this team going forward.
