The 45-10 Cleveland Cavaliers began their second half with a nice 110-97 win over the Brooklyn Nets to maintain their 5.5-game lead atop the Eastern Conference behind a strong revenge game from Jarrett Allen, who bulldozed the Nets’ frontcourt for 16 points and 20 rebounds on 8-for-9 shooting in 25 minutes.
The Cavs have no time to enjoy the victory, as they have a tough matchup on Friday night as well against the New York Knicks, and the team could be getting some nice reinforcements ahead of this potential Eastern Conference Finals preview.
Team insider Evan Dammarell shared on X that forward Dean Wade is probable against the Knicks and is set to return from the knee injury that has kept him out since January 24th.
Dean Wade is PROBABLE for the #Cavs against the New York Knicks tonight.
Emoni Bates, JT Thor, and Luke Travers are all OUT while on assignment with the Cleveland Charge.
Otherwise, everyone else is available – a first for this season.

Dammarell added that JT Thor, Emoni Bates, and Luke Travers are all out on assignment with the team’s G-League affiliate, but other than that, the team is all healthy and good to go ahead of this matchup.
This could be the first time the Cavs are at full strength since acquiring De’Andre Hunter at the trade deadline, and it will be interesting to see how these lineups shake out with all this depth at Kenny Atkinson’s disposal.
Wade was starting regularly before his injury and is putting up career numbers across the board, but it’s fair to assume Hunter will continue starting even with Wade back in action.
Cleveland has one of the deepest rosters in the league and has everything it needs to lock in and solidify this No. 1 seed ahead of the postseason.
