It’s no secret that this iteration of the Cleveland Cavaliers is one of the best in franchise history.
LeBron James led several fantastic teams throughout his tenure with the organization, but a lot of their success was driven by him.
During the 2024-2025 season, the Cavaliers aren’t necessarily led by one particular person, but their depth and ability to get production from numerous players has helped them get to this point.
They started the year hot with the 15-0 winning streak, and continue to make their presence heard across the league, letting their counterparts know that they are here to stay.
The Cavaliers haven’t just had some games that look like a flash in the pan, but they’ve strung a great first half of the year together, hoping to build upon that momentum in the second half.
While this team excels in several areas, they have been particularly strong from beyond the arc, as Cavs Notes recently highlighted on X.
The Cavaliers have now made over 10 three-pointers in 59 straight games, which is the third-longest streak in league history.

The Cavaliers haven’t always been known as an elite three-point shooting team, but the game has evolved a lot, where teams are effectively being forced to be good at this shot, or at least, take a lot of them.
Thankfully, the Cavaliers have several players who have answered the call and have started knocking these shots down, which helps them keep up with their competition in close games.
