The latest NBA power rankings have come out and, unsurprisingly, the Cleveland Cavaliers are on top once again.
According to Legion Hoops, the Cavaliers are the top team in the power rankings, followed by the Golden State Warriors, Oklahoma City Thunder, Boston Celtics, and the Houston Rockets.
The Cavaliers have been dominating so it’s not a shock to see them in this place – but how long will it last?

This has been a very exciting and surprising season in the NBA.
While many people thought the Cavaliers would be strong, few envisioned them with this sort of record.
The same is true for the Warriors, who are performing far better than most preseason predictions.
With a 15-0 record, the Cavaliers definitely deserve their position in the power rankings.
However, things could become complicated this week because they are finally squaring off against their biggest Eastern Conference rivals: the Boston Celtics.
The Celtics hold an 11-3 record so they aren’t that far behind the Cavaliers in the East.
On Tuesday night, the Cavaliers will travel to Boston to see who will reign supreme.
If they can beat the Celtics, they will move on to the New Orleans Pelicans with a 16-0 record.
Few teams have ever done what the Cavaliers are right now.
With this accomplishment comes so much praise and celebration, but expectations that are only growing.
If they beat the Celtics on Tuesday, fans should expect to see Cleveland retaining this top position in the power rankings next week.
It’ll be a huge statement of their strength and place in the league.
