The NBA is populated with a ton of terrific basketball players who are reaching new heights of greatness this season.
But it’s also got some head coaches who are leaving fans and analysts in total awe.
Speaking on his podcast, Patrick Beverley said Cleveland Cavaliers head coach Kenny Atkinson is the MVP of the week because of everything he is doing for his seemingly unstoppable team.

The 15-0 record in Cleveland is quite literally historic and much higher than even the most optimistic fan expected when the season started.
The thing that is so interesting about this year’s Cavs lineup is how similar it is to last year’s.
The roster hasn’t changed and in fact, some injuries have eliminated a few players, such as Max Strus.
The only big change that came to the Cavaliers in the summer was Atkinson, who was signed after years of being an assistant coach and also the head coach of the Brooklyn Nets for four seasons.
He was one of multiple candidates for the job and it’s now very clear that he was the perfect fit for Cleveland.
He has unlocked something special in this team and has made fans very happy the front office didn’t blow the roster up in the summer.
The Cavaliers are meeting their true potential right now and it feels like the sky may be the limit.
None of this would have been possible without the dedication of the players but Atkinson’s signing with Cleveland seems to be the special ingredient that has led to 15-0.
