The Cleveland Cavaliers have found great success this season, and they continue to be the top dogs in the Eastern Conference.
While they weren’t necessarily expected to be in this position coming into the year, this team has put the pieces together with their new head coach and is looking to make some serious noise in the postseason.
The season is long and grueling, however, and injuries could pop up at any moment.
This team is said to be one of the deepest in the NBA, continuing to adopt the ‘next man up’ approach, but they can always get better.
With this in mind, Brian Windhorst recently appeared on ESPN to talk about the types of players the Cavaliers might be interested in trading for, along with a few options of who and what they could trade away.
“I’m not saying the Cavs are interested in this guy, I’m just giving you an example, I think if you look at Cam Johnson from the Nets,” Windhorst said, highlighting an example of a player the Cavaliers could target before the trade deadline.

Johnson from the Brooklyn Nets could be an interesting piece for the Cavaliers, a player who might be a spark plug for them on both sides of the floor.
If he isn’t available, there are other players like him around the league that the Cavaliers could target, should they look to make a big move.
