The Cleveland Cavaliers are on the heels of losing their first game since February 4th.
They haven’t felt defeat in quite some time, having a franchise-best 16-game winning streak.
While many factors go into this Cavaliers roster on a nightly basis, analysts have pointed to their depth as one of their most impressive assets.
On any given night, the Cavaliers can have one of several different players have a massive game, which allows their starters to get a breather and watch their teammates light it up.
Of course, they’re primarily led by their three star players: Donovan Mitchell, Darius Garland, and Evan Mobley.
Mobley wasn’t necessarily expected to play as well as he has coming into the year, which has been a welcomed surprise to the fanbase.
After this loss to the Orlando Magic, analyst Evan Dammarell indicated that Mobley’s presence on the court is important to the success of the Cavaliers moving forward.
I will say this loss for the #Cavs does further drive home how important Evan Mobley is to this team’s on-court success.

His presence was missed during this game, having one less dominant player in the post against players like Paolo Banchero and Franz Wagner.
Thankfully, losing one regular season game isn’t the end of the world, and the Cavaliers still have plenty of time to prepare for the playoffs.
They’re the No. 1 seed by a healthy margin, and pending a late-season collapse, they look to be in a strong position for the postseason.
It remains to be seen how far they will go, but when they are healthy, this team has proven that they can take down anyone who stands in their way.
