The Cleveland Cavaliers are experiencing a bit of adversity down the stretch of the 2024-25 NBA season as they’ve dropped four consecutive games, making this their longest losing streak of the year.
The Cavaliers have lost to the likes of the Orlando Magic, the Los Angeles Clippers, the Sacramento Kings and the Phoenix Suns, four teams desperately trying to keep their playoff hopes alive.
Meanwhile, Cleveland is nearly locked into the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference and should be focusing more on keeping players healthy and in game shape.
There hasn’t been too much worry about this losing streak, given the team was coming off a 16-game winning streak, though there are some patterns in the losses.
The team has struggled to score from beyond the arc and allowed teams to dictate the tempo and physicality of games.
While some fans are growing concerned, people like Nick Pedone can still comfortably chalk this losing streak up to the ebbs and flows of a regular season via 92.3 The Fan.
“I’m not freaking out about it just yet…now it’s just kind of getting their footing back underneath them,” Pedone said.

Pedone expressed that he thinks the team has experienced some low points already this season and bounced back, so the hope now is that they’re able to recover.
Pedone also noted that new pieces like De’Andre Hunter are still getting acclimated, so there’s potential for this team to hit new heights.
Overall, the Cavaliers are still in a strong position to finish out the year on a high note, and the real fun will begin once the playoffs start.
