The first round is finally set for the Cleveland Cavaliers, and they will take on the Miami Heat at the start of the playoffs.
The Cavaliers are the top seed in the East, and the Heat have had to fight long and hard to get to this point.
But that doesn’t mean Cleveland should think their series against Miami will be a breeze.
On X, Tom Withers reminded fans that the Cavaliers defeated the Heat 112-107 on March 6 to clinch a playoff spot.
But it’s important to note that Miami played without Tyler Herro, who was injured at the time.
During that game, Bam Adebayo scored 34 points, and now he will be playing alongside Herro in the opening round.
“Cleveland can’t overlook any team coached by Erik Spoelstra,” Withers wrote.

Herro could be a huge problem for the Cavaliers.
He averaged 23.9 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 5.5 assists on 47.2 percent from the field during the 2024-25 season.
He has especially been on a roll lately, and the Cavaliers should expect him to be an offensive threat.
But Spoelstra has been able to get a lot out of multiple players, and the Cavaliers need to be aware of all of them.
On Friday against the Atlanta Hawks, Andrew Wiggins went off with 20 points, while Davion Mitchell had a stellar night with 16 points, and Haywood Highsmith and Kel’el Ware also scored 12.
Simply put, the Heat have many options, and the Cavaliers can’t take it easy.
The Cavaliers are hoping for an easy opening round because they plan to have a long run in the playoffs.
That may end up happening, but it wouldn’t be surprising if the Heat give them some trouble, even if they don’t win.
