The Cleveland Cavaliers were the best team in the Eastern Conference from start to finish this season.
They dominated their opposition on both ends of the floor, but as good as they were on defense, they were much better on offense.
That was more evident in a tweet shared by the NBA.
As shown in the post, the Cavs led the entire league in points per game, offensive rating, effective field goal percentage, and true shooting percentage.
If that wasn’t enough, they were also second in three-point percentage and field goal percentage.

Kenny Atkinson took a page from the Golden State Warriors’ book, and he adapted their offense to his new personnel.
The Cavs found wide-open looks left and right, and they were efficient from all three levels of the court despite being such a high-volume and high-octane team.
Even so, some still believe they have to prove themselves in the postseason.
The game gets way more physical in the playoffs, and the referees allow more contact.
That could pose a threat to a Cavs team that has struggled against physical competition in the past.
Fortunately for them, they haven’t needed to rely so heavily on Donovan Mitchell this season.
He’s still the team’s best scorer, and he will be their go-to guy when they’re in need of a bucket.
Then again, even if he struggles to create separation or go to the line against peskier and tougher defensive pressure, they should still be just fine with everybody getting touches on offense.
