The Cleveland Cavaliers will come close to 70 wins in a single season.
They’ve had one of the greatest seasons in franchise history, which is a lot to say for a franchise that had prime LeBron James in two separate stints.
Notably, they’ve dominated the West and the East with ease, and they should feel very confident about any potential opponent they might face in the NBA Finals.
As pointed out by Cavs Notes on X, the Cavs tied the fourth-best mark for the team against Western Conference foes in a single season.
So far, they’ve gone 23-6 vs. the West, and Sunday’s matchup with the Sacramento Kings will be their final clash vs. a Western Conference foe this season.
The Cavs will take on Sacramento tonight for their final game against a Western Conference opponent this season.
Cleveland is 23-6 against the West (tied for 4th-most wins vs. West in team history).

The Cavaliers have more than enough resources to make a deep postseason run this year.
Adding De’Andre Hunter to their roster solved what essentially seemed to be their only flaw, as it gave them an athletic defender who can also knock down shots from beyond the arc.
Unfortunately, despite their evident dominance and how efficient they’ve been on both ends of the floor, some still have doubts about this team.
They have yet to prove themselves or be battle-tested in the postseason, and some think they will crumble under pressure when it matters the most, especially if they have to face the Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference Finals.
Hopefully, that will only provide this team with the motivational boost they need to take care of business once and for all.
