The Cleveland Cavaliers have been at the top of the Eastern Conference from start to finish.
Barring a catastrophe, they will be the No. 1 seed in the East.
That’s not a minor detail if you consider that they will most likely face the defending NBA champions, the Boston Celtics, in the Eastern Conference Finals.
That’s also Bruce Drennan’s biggest concern.

In the latest edition of his show, the controversial pundit questioned whether the Cavaliers would be physical enough to hold their own vs. the reigning champions.
That has been the biggest question mark with this team all year long.
They’ve struggled against physical teams in the past, and the Celtics have a plethora of talent and good defenders to throw their way.
They’ve split the season series so far, and even the losses have been close.
Also, they added Javonte Green, De’Andre Hunter, and now even Chuma Okeke to the mix to have enough bodies to stay in front of Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown.
Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen can take care of Kristaps Porzingis, but Darius Garland and Donovan Mitchell might have trouble with Jrue Holiday and Derrick White.
Kenny Atkinson’s team has no flaws, at least on paper, and they’ve done an outstanding job of dominating almost every single team they’ve faced this season.
Nevertheless, given their history of shortcomings in the postseason and their struggles vs. tough teams, it’s also easy to understand why some people, like Drennan, still aren’t fully sold on this team.
