The Cleveland Cavaliers were taken down by the Detroit Pistons on Friday night, losing 133-122 and earning their 15th loss of the season.
The alarm bells aren’t ringing too loudly in Cleveland, but many people are concerned by what they saw during the game.
Sam Amico summed it up on X, highlighting a big problem with the Cavs.
“I think the Cavs have checked out mentally. Hope it doesn’t cost them when it counts,” he wrote.
Two ๐ thoughts:
1. I think Cavs have checked out mentally. Hope it doesnโt cost them when it counts.
2. This is probably the most boring NCAA tournament of my lifetime.
3. Enjoy your evening.

It’s not uncommon for a very successful team to take it easy at this point in the season.
They are still 4.5 games ahead of the second-place Boston Celtics, and it looks like they will take the top seed in the Eastern Conference.
The team has every reason to believe in what they can do, but they cannot be checked out or too relaxed.
After all, if they lose a few more times, they will be at risk of giving up the top seed after holding onto it all season long.
They desperately want home court advantage in the playoffs, especially if they ultimately face the Celtics in the Eastern Conference Finals.
Their next game is against the Los Angeles Clippers, and it’ll be a big chance for them to prove what they are capable of and how well they can bounce back.
Two losses in a row right before the postseason is not a good sign, and it would have fans very worried.
Was Friday night’s loss a wake-up call, and can the Cavaliers dig deep and fight hard again?
They will answer those questions on Sunday.
