Cleveland Cavaliers star Jarrett Allen recently turned heads with a performance that left fans and analysts alike buzzing with excitement.
Allen scored a season-high 29 points and was virtually unstoppable, making 10 of 11 shots and grabbing 15 rebounds.
Donovan Mitchell complemented the effort, dishing out a career-high 14 assists in the victory against the San Antonio Spurs.
After that performance, Allen is leading the league in a stat that could etch his name in NBA history.
“Jarrett Allen is leading the league in FG%. If he finishes the regular season above 70%, he’ll be just the 3rd player in NBA history to average 13.0+ PPG on .700 FG%. (Wilt Chamberlain & Rudy Gobert are the other 2). 9 games left,” Cavaliers sideline reporter Serena Winters wrote on X.

Shooting 70.3 percent, Allen towers above Jalen Duren of the Detroit Pistons and Walker Kessler of the Utah Jazz.
With nine games remaining, Allen has a golden opportunity to cement his place among the NBA’s elite big men.
His performance against the Spurs showcased his extraordinary potential, joining Chamberlain as the only players with four career games featuring 25+ points, 15+ rebounds and a 90%+ field goal percentage.
The Cavaliers’ communications department noted that Chamberlain accomplished that stat line 12 times in his career, a benchmark Allen is challenging.
His defensive prowess, combined with jaw-dropping offensive numbers, underscores why he’s become such a critical component of the Cavaliers’ excellent season.
