The Cleveland Cavaliers need to get back to their best.
The regular season is coming to an end, and you don’t want to enter the playoffs in a slump.
That’s why Brian Windhorst is very worried about Donovan Mitchell.
Talking on ESPN Cleveland’s “The Really Big Show,” the renowned insider claimed that Mitchell’s shooting slump might not even be related to the groin injury he’s dealt with for most of the season.
How worried should we be about Donovan Mitchell's shooting slump since the All-Star break?

He argued that his shooting percentages had taken a dip, and the fact that he’s taking so many three-pointers and making so little of them is hurting the team’s offense.
Windhorst stated that three-point shooting is such a big part of Kenny Atkinson’s offense, so having him miss so many threes was setting the team up for failure.
This has been a recurring issue with Mitchell since he arrived in Cleveland, and it’s usually led to problems in the postseason.
Perhaps the team will want to take a closer look at his conditioning, as he’s usually either banged up or exhausted at this point in the year.
The Cavs have done a great job of managing everybody’s minutes, and perhaps they will have to sit him for a couple of games to help him get his legs back under him.
He’s the team’s most proficient scorer, and while they have more weapons and players who can also step up, the fact of the matter is that this team might only go as far as he can take them in the playoffs.
