The Cleveland Cavaliers are a team.
That sounds simple and obvious, but that’s not always the case.
They don’t care about the name on the back of their jerseys as much as they do about the name on the front of them.
It doesn’t matter who’s playing and who’s sitting out; everybody knows their role and plays within it.
That’s what makes this team so special, at least on offense, according to team analyst Rafa Hernández-Brito.
Talking on the “Full Court Cleveland” show, Hernández-Brito raved about this team’s determination to step up whenever one of the top players doesn’t suit up.
The #Cavs are scoring in bunches even without Donovan Mitchell.
"They're saying "You know what, it's our night, we gotta do it."

He argued that everybody else knew it was their time to step up, and as such, they took care of business and did what needed to be done to make up for whoever was not available.
That was the case again in their win over the Memphis Grizzlies, as Donovan Mitchell was out.
We’ve already seen Ty Jerome take over and fill in for Mitchell or Darius Garland multiple times this season.
Jarrett Allen has also been more aggressive when Evan Mobley or any of the other All-Stars has been unavailable.
Even so, this team rallies behind one another, and it doesn’t matter who’s going to take the final or biggest shot.
At the end of the day, they all trust one another to take care of business, and with the ball constantly finding the open man, everybody’s involved in the offense and into a rhythm when they need to knock down a shot.
