The Cleveland Cavaliers are the best team in the NBA for a number of reasons, including their incredibly deep roster.
All season long, Evan Mobley has been one of the most important factors in the Cavaliers’ success and the numbers prove why.
As noted by Evan Sidery, Mobley has one of the highest true shooting percentages in the league this season.
His true shooting sits at 63.9 percent, behind Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (64.4 percent), Domantas Sabonis (66.2 percent) and Nikola Jokic (66.2 percent).
He is in good company in this very special and exclusive club.

True shooting is a great indicator of how well a player is scoring on the floor.
It’s more accurate than a simple field goal percentage and incorporates field goals, free throws, and three-pointers.
The higher the true shooting percentage, the more impactful the player.
Any Cavaliers fan would agree that Mobley is having a wonderful season.
He has been averaging 18.5 points and 9.3 rebounds and has helped his team climb to the top of the standings in the league.
It’s about more than his numbers, too.
Mobley has been playing with more confidence, dexterity, and speed.
He looks more comfortable in his position and has come into his own.
He is just one of several Cavaliers stars who look to be happier and more in control this year.
Their success is a full team effort and the entire roster is stacked with players at their peaks.
Being in the same statistical group as Jokic, Sabonis, and Gilgeous-Alexander is always a good thing
It’s just further proof that Mobley is having a breakout year.
