The Cleveland Cavaliers keep rolling.
Once again, they’ve established themselves as the best team in the league, and it’s not particularly close.
With their win over the Miami Heat, they’ve gotten their 12th consecutive win.
As such, they have joined the 2006-07 Dallas Mavericks as the only two teams in NBA history with at least three winning streaks of 12+ games in a single season.

Kenny Atkinson has completely turned this team around.
It’s safe to assume that most insiders didn’t have the Cavaliers as a championship contender this season, much less as being the first team to secure a postseason berth.
Fast forward to today, and they look like a legitimate championship contender.
Through 62 games, they’ve only lost ten, and most of them came during a brief skid.
They’ve been the best road team in the entire league this season as well, and they have the most efficient offense overall.
If that wasn’t enough, they added two outstanding defensive players to bolster their physicality and make sure to match up well against the likes of the Boston Celtics and Oklahoma City Thunder.
At first glance, this team has no flaws.
Barring a string of injuries or a shocking turn of events, they should be firmly expected to reach the Eastern Conference Finals at the very least.
And even though losing to the defending NBA champions is always a possibility, they’ve matched up well vs. the Celtics, going 2-2 against them this season.
There’s still plenty of basketball left, but you have to love their chances against anybody.
