The Cleveland Cavaliers wouldn’t be the dominant team they are if it weren’t for several big-name stars.
But it is also some of the unsung heroes of the squad that are pushing them further than expected in 2024-25.
Ty Jerome has made a name for himself this season and has been posting strong numbers since his first game.
February has been very kind to Jerome, as pointed out by CavsMuse on X.
During this month, he has averaged 14.3 points, 3.2 rebounds, 3.1 assists, and 1.2 steals during 21.1 minutes per game.
He has been shooting 53.5 percent from the field and 51.5 percent from the three-point line, while also sinking 87.0 percent of his free throws.
CavsMuse suggested he could be Sixth Man of the Year and they are not the only ones saying that.

This is Jerome’s sixth season in the NBA and his second year with the Cavaliers.
His official season average is 11.8 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 3.4 assists per game on 52.2 percent from the field and a very impressive 44.4 percent from beyond the three-point line.
Jerome has only started in two games this year and is now being talked about as one of the best bench players in the league.
He is a key reason why the Cavaliers have such a deep bench.
Cleveland’s depth is one of their secret weapons and it is how they can remain competitive for all 48 minutes of a game.
Unlike some other teams, such as the New York Knicks, the Cavaliers don’t have to rely solely on their starting lineup.
When Jerome comes off the bench, he can make a real impact and increase his team’s leads.
It might be too soon for him to be Sixth Man of the Year, but there is no doubt that Jerome is now a real fan favorite in Cleveland.
