The Cleveland Cavaliers starred in one of the most epic games in professional sports history.
That’s why even Mike Breen, who’s been in the league for quite a while now, will never forget Game 7 of the 2016 NBA Finals.
Talking to Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart for their “Roommates” show (via NBA Central), the legendary commentator chose that game as one of his most memorable.
Mike Breen names his most memorable calls on ABC:

Truth be told, even non-Cavaliers fans might feel the same way.
That was one of the most iconic games in NBA history, and it just meant so much.
For starters, it marked the first – and so far, the only – comeback from a 3-1 deficit in NBA Finals history.
On top of that, it also marked LeBron James’ redemption in Cleveland, as he had finally delivered a title to his hometown.
The Cavaliers spoiled the Golden State Warriors’ record-breaking regular season, and those 73 wins ‘don’t mean a thing without a ring.’
The game had its fair share of epic moments, obviously headlined by the momentum-turning chase-down block on Andre Iguodala and Kyrie Irving’s championship-clinching stepback three-pointer over Stephen Curry.
That series alone may have changed the course of NBA history, as the Warriors went on to sign Kevin Durant in the offseason.
The Dubs often got the best of LeBron and the Cavaliers.
Even so, they will always have bragging rights over Steve Kerr’s team after how things went down in 2016.
It will be very difficult to top that game or that series at any point in the future.
