The Cleveland Cavaliers have been the best team in the NBA this season, and it hasn’t been close at all.
Nevertheless, similar to what occurs with small market teams, particularly those lacking a superstar or a top-five player, they appear to lack significant credibility.
That’s why, as we approach the All-Star break, NBA analyst Sam Amico fully expects Kenny Atkinson’s team to make a statement.
On his “Full Court Cleveland” podcast, Amico claimed that he expected the Cavs to finish this stretch strongly before getting their well-deserved rest.

The Cavaliers are one of the teams to beat in the league right now, and teams that continue to sleep on them are paying the price.
Of course, there’s still plenty of basketball left to be played this season, but there’s just no way to take a look at this team’s numbers and make a case for them not being the best team in all of basketball.
The Cavaliers boast the second-most efficient offense in the game, and their defense is also in the top ten in most metrics.
They’ve beaten almost every single opponent they’ve come across this season.
They’re still well on pace to finish the season with 70 wins or pretty close to that.
So, even if they don’t have LeBron James or Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, it’s most definitely time the national media and other team’s fans start giving this team the credit they deserve.
