The Cleveland Cavaliers didn’t need a lot of help.
Even so, they got a prime reinforcement without making any trades.
Max Strus got off to a slow start to the season after missing a big chunk with a foot injury he sustained during the preseason.
However, he’s finally starting to heat up.
As shown by Cavs Note on X, the former Miami Heat star has now knocked down at least four three-pointers in three of his last four games.
Max Strus is 4-6 from beyond the arc so far. He has now made 4+ 3FG in 3 of the last 4 games.#LetEmKnow

He finished the win over the Indiana Pacers with 13 points on 4-of-8 shooting, going 4-of-7 from three-point territory.
Strus has now gotten his numbers back up to his career averages.
He’s shooting a respectable 37% from downtown, slightly up from his 36.5% career average.
The Cavs have the most efficient offense in the game, and it’s not even close.
They’re averaging the most points per game while shooting the ball at the most efficient clip, both overall and from beyond the arc.
Needless to say, some believe that kind of three-point shooting is unsustainable, as they shoot over 40% from outside the restricted area.
That would be the best mark by any team in years, and there’s still one-half of basketball left to be played.
Nonetheless, given the way they’ve played this season, there’s simply no reason to believe they’re due for some regression.
If anything, they could get better if one of their sharpshooters, like Strus, keeps heating up and knocking down big shots from three-point territory.
