The Cleveland Cavaliers are the best team in the NBA and have a very good shot of going far in the playoffs this season.
But that doesn’t mean they aren’t going to shake things up at the upcoming NBA trade deadline.
Speaking on ESPN Cleveland, Brian Windhorst said the Cavs will “definitely” listen to potential offers and might commit to a trade or deal because “they owe it to this team.”
However, the front office is feeling no pressure to agree to anything and there is a good chance this team won’t change at all at the deadline.
They will listen, but they might not move forward with any deals.

The Cavaliers don’t have a lot of assets they can trade, aside from a first-round draft pick, Caris LeVert and his expiring contract, and Jaylon Tyson.
None of that would be enough to get a major star on the roster, but that’s not what the Cavaliers are looking for.
In fact, they aren’t technically looking for anything and would be more than comfortable riding out the rest of the season with the team they have right now.
They truly believe they have what it takes to reach the Finals this year.
Some fans are pleading with the Cavaliers to not make any moves.
They fear that any adjustment, even one that seems smart, could hurt team chemistry and upend the progress they have made this season.
The front office might listen to those fans and not do anything in the weeks ahead.
They could let this season play out, see how the team performs in the playoffs, and then perhaps pursue changes after that.
The Cavaliers will listen to offers like Windhorst said, but they might end up looking the exact same after February 6.
