The Cleveland Cavaliers have an elite core four.
Jarrett Allen and Evan Mobley anchor the paint and dominate the glass, while Donovan Mitchell and Darius Garland lead the backcourt.
Nonetheless, it takes more than four players to succeed in the league.
Fortunately, Kenny Atkinson’s team is deep and features multiple bench players who could be starters elsewhere.
That’s the case with Caris LeVert.
He should be a legitimate Sixth Man of the Year candidate for how he’s played for the best team in the league this season.
As shown by Basketball Reference on X, he’s currently second in three-point shooting field goal percentage, knocking down 45.9% of his attempts from beyond the arc.

He trails only Denver Nuggets star Nikola Jokic, shooting 47.9% from deep.
LeVert gives this team an instant offensive spark off the bench, averaging nearly 12 points per contest.
The Cavaliers have thrived because of their ability to deploy different lineups in any given situation.
LeVert can keep the team’s offense afloat when one of Mitchell or Garland isn’t on the floor.
He can also slide to the three to play alongside them when the team needs a bucket.
LeVert has been a streaky shooter for most of his career, and he’s tended to go ice-cold as quickly as he gets scorching hot.
Even so, he’s thriving in Kenny Atkinson’s offense, and this might be the most efficient version we’ll ever see of him.
