The Cleveland Cavaliers have been one of the most impressive teams in the NBA this season, especially when compared to their preseason expectations.
Fans hoped they would be a playoff contender, but this team certainly wasn’t expected to be the top team in the Eastern Conference at this point in the season.
The Cavaliers have gotten to this point by playing true team basketball, utilizing everyone on their roster to the best of their abilities, especially when injuries pop up.
This approach will be especially important in the Cavaliers’ upcoming matchup with the Denver Nuggets, as Dean Wade has already been ruled out, per Spencer Davies on X.
Dean Wade (right knee soreness) is listed as questionable for tomorrow night’s game in Denver. #Cavs will also not have all three of their two-way players and Craig Porter Jr. on G League assignment, and Isaac Okoro as we know is out with a right shoulder sprain.

Wade is going through some knee soreness, so the Cavaliers’ coaching staff is taking it easy with him, especially since there is more than half of the season left to play.
As Davies noted, Craig Porter Jr. is currently in the G league on assignment, and Isaac Okoro is suffering from shoulder issues.
This might be a banged-up crew at the moment, but they continue to find ways to win, even against the most difficult of opponents.
The Nuggets are a tough test for any team, especially for teams that are without some of their top players.
It will be interesting to see if the Cavaliers can keep this pace going throughout the rest of the season, or if their lack of depth due to injury will catch up with them along the way.
Regardless of what happens, fans are enjoying the ride and hope that it will continue for the foreseeable future.
