The Cleveland Cavaliers have won their first 12 games of the season for the first time in franchise history.
Even when they had LeBron James, they were never able to achieve this.
That’s why ESPN Cleveland radio host Tony Rizzo wants the rest of the world to pay attention.
He recently called them the “hottest team in sports,” stating that all teams should take notice and give their best effort because everybody wants to beat the best.

Even so, he questioned why the national media doesn’t seem interested in discussing them.
Unfortunately, this isn’t new.
Small-market teams have struggled with this for most of their history.
Other than during LeBron James’s era, the Cavaliers have mostly been a footnote or an afterthought for sports networks.
Teams like the Los Angeles Lakers or Dallas Cowboys are always all over the news, even when they’re not playing well.
Whatever the case, Kenny Atkinson’s team is letting their play do the talking for them.
His lineup combinations, deep rotation, and free-flowing offense have been major catalysts behind this recent success.
Notably, Rizzo predicted the Cavaliers would win their first 15 games of the season, giving them the second-longest winning streak to start the season in NBA history behind only the 2015-16 Golden State Warriors (24).
That means he thinks they’re due for their first loss when they face the Boston Celtics on November 19.
It’ll be interesting to see if the team honors his prediction or surprises him.
