The Cleveland Cavaliers are rolling right now.
Kenny Atkinson made an immediate impact in Cleveland, and the team is now just the eighth team in NBA history to start a season with 12 consecutive wins.
Granted, they’ve always had a solid starting lineup, but even though they’re playing very well right now, Atkinson is also rolling with a deep rotation.
As Knicks insider Tommy Beer pointed out on X, the Cavs had ten players play at least 17 minutes in their win over the Chicago Bulls.

We already knew what Donovan Mitchell and Darius Garland were capable of on offense, and the defense had the potential to be an all-time great one, at least in the restricted area, with Jarrett Allen and Evan Mobley.
However, it doesn’t stop there for the new-look Cavaliers.
Coach Atkinson trusts Caris LeVert, Ty Jerome, Georges Niang, and Dean Wade to play heavy minutes off the bench, all while Isaac Okoro does his thing on defense.
To make things even better, this team will get another prime reinforcement in Max Strus, who has yet to play as he continues to nurse an ankle injury.
This team is deep, which has allowed the starters to be well-rested and fresh when it matters most.
The Cavaliers are the best team in the league right now, both record-wise and with the eye test, and while it’s still early in the season, other teams will want to take a page from their book.
