The NBA Summer League is a chance for fans to get a glimpse of players who could be producing a lot for their teams in the upcoming season.
On Thursday night, it was Jaylon Tyson who was given the opportunity to shine brightly for Cleveland.
Writing on X, Ethan Sands talked about Tyson and how well he was operating the ball.
But he warned that he will need to show more than just that if he wishes to get a routine place in the team’s rotation.
“He looks more comfortable, but heāll also need to show how he moves without the ball to get minutes in Kenny Atkinsonās rotation,” Sands wrote.
If people didnāt watch the film on Jaylon Tyson out of Cal, they are getting a good look at how he operates with the ball in his hands during SL.

On Thursday, Tyson produced 20 points, 12 rebounds, and four assists, shooting 8-of-17 from the field and also creating three three-pointers.
The Cavaliers might not have won their game against the Indiana Pacers, but Tyson still impressed.
As great as he did, that doesn’t mean he will be playing regularly during the next season.
The problem for Tyson is that the Cavaliers are a very deep team, which means it’ll be difficult for him to carve out a reliable spot in the rotation.
He will instead have to fight hard to show what he can achieve night after night and earn his minutes during every game.
The upcoming season will be Tyson’s second in the league.
During his rookie campaign, he produced an average of 3.6 points and 2.0 rebounds.
This year’s Summer League carries significant weight, as Tyson is attempting to impress the fans and Kenny Atkinson, showing that he is worthy of an even bigger role on the squad in 2025-26.
