2024-25 was Evan Mobley’s best season yet, and he earned his first All-Star appearance as well as Defensive Player of the Year.
However, he isn’t content to stay the same and wants to get even better in the new year for the Cleveland Cavaliers.
A video shared by HoodiGarland on X featured Mobley on the practice court, working on his handles.
In the video, he is dribbling multiple basketballs with terrific speed and control.
He looks in the zone, at ease, and like he could be a real offensive threat in the new year.

It’s not like Mobley wasn’t helpful with offense in 2024-25.
He averaged 18.5 points, the most of his career, but there was definitely room for improvement, especially during the postseason, when the Cavaliers were outworked.
Mobley is a great defensive player, but he wants to be a two-way threat and thinks that he can be.
However, it’ll require practice and determination.
This video proves that he has plenty of both.
Mobley’s best season brought him a lot of attention, but it’ll also leave him with huge expectations in 2025-26.
If he slips back with his output, the critics will be louder than ever.
But if he is able to step up and improve his offense, he could be in the discussion for MVP.
This video of Mobley is very encouraging, but there is a major difference between offseason practices and regular-season production.
He improved his game in 2024-25, but can Mobley do it again in the new year?
