In just a few weeks, the Cleveland Cavaliers will face off against the Brooklyn Nets in Paris, France.
This regular-season game will be the first time the Cavaliers play in Europe and only the third international game in franchise history so it’s a very big deal.
To celebrate the upcoming game, the Cavaliers released a video on Twitter of their biggest stars attempting to pronounce some common French basketball-related terms.
Although each player tried very hard, they definitely failed on a few of these attempts.
That being said, most of them knew what “Le Basket” means.

The game in Paris was announced just a few months ago during the summer and it has generated a lot of interest since then.
The Cavaliers have traveled overseas before, playing in China in 2007 and then Brazil in 2015.
However, the Paris game is going to come with even more exposure and it shows that the league views the Cavaliers as one of the best young teams in the league.
They will square off against the Nets, who have played in France before, having held a preseason game in Paris back in 2008.
The NBA has been working hard to hold more international games over the last few years as a way to generate more awareness about basketball and entice foreign players to play in the league.
These games are also a fun way to celebrate different cultures and give fans something unique to enjoy.
The Cavaliers are the seventh team in the East right now and are currently riddled with injuries.
That means it’s not entirely clear which players will be able to suit up in a few weeks when they take their trip to Paris.
