Cleveland Cavaliers fans were hoping that at this point of the playoffs, they would be getting ready for an Eastern Conference Finals matchup ahead of another potential NBA championship.
Instead, they are left trying to digest where it all went wrong following a five-game loss to the Indiana Pacers in the second round.
Instead of getting excited about hosting the New York Knicks for Game 1, Cavs fans are left with much less exciting things to deal with, such as Ty Jerome changing his profile picture on Instagram, via Myles O’Malley, which serves as a reminder that he is heading into free agency and may have already played his final game for the Cavaliers.

Jerome’s former profile picture depicted him in cartoon form in a Cavaliers uniform, and his new one shows him dressed up walking through what looks like a parking lot with a briefcase in hand.
Perhaps he is indicating he is getting out of Cleveland?
Perhaps it means nothing?
Who knows, but the reality is that Jerome earned himself a lot of money this season by posting career-best numbers in scoring.
Cleveland already has the core of its team locked up, as Donovan Mitchell, Darius Garland, Evan Mobley, Jarrett Allen and De’Andre Hunter are under contract going forward.
Finding the money to keep Jerome is going to be difficult, but team president Koby Altman recently said the Cavs are hopeful they will be able to retain the guard.
Jerome became a huge part of this rotation this year, and Cavs fans are certainly hoping he hasn’t played his last game for Cleveland.
