What is happening with Collin Sexton and the Cleveland Cavaliers?
Just over a year ago, no one would have been asking that question but now it’s on the minds of many Cleveland fans.
After nearly an entire season on the bench due to injury, it doesn’t feel like Sexton really has a place on the team.
At the same time, he hasn’t been moved to another franchise yet, which means that maybe no other squad wants to take him on.
If Collin Sexton had a better offer from another team it would have presented itself by now.

A good point was made on Twitter: if Sexton had received a better offer from another team by now, it would have presented itself.
That’s a very valid comment.
Obviously, other teams aren’t knocking down the door of the Cavaliers for Sexton.
So does that mean he is going to stick around in Cleveland?
No Offers
Why aren’t other teams offering a lot for Sexton?
The guard has a career average of 20 points, 3 rebounds, and 3.3 assists.
He plays with some great skill, speed, and ferocity at times.
Therefore, shouldn’t many other teams be clawing their way to get to Sexton?
The truth is that the injury he suffered might be scaring away a lot of other front offices.
At the same time, perhaps they just aren’t comfortable putting up the sort of cash that Cleveland would agree to.
Sexton is a restricted free agent which means that any deal offered to him has a chance to be matched by the Cavs.
In other words, he’s really sitting at the mercy of the team and they aren’t really moving quickly with any decision.
As time goes on, it seems more and more likely that Sexton will be back with the Cavaliers next season but we have no idea how that’ll work out.
