Training camp for the Cleveland Cavaliers is quickly approaching but the team still hasn’t solved one of its biggest problems.
For weeks now, fans have been desperate to find out what’s next for the squad and Collin Sexton.
Sexton sat on the bench for most of the last season due to injury and rehabilitation.
During that time, the team seemingly moved on without him and found a rotation that could thrive.
That has led many to speculate the team would trade him away in the offseason.

Instead, they offered the restricted free agent a deal he wasn’t happy with and then did absolutely nothing else.
Since their offer became public, few teams have come knocking at Cleveland’s door and now the latest report says that Sexton and the Cavs are at a standstill on a new contract.
So, what happens next?
Is Sexton remaining in Cleveland or will another team give him what he desires?
Collin’s Contract
Sexton is a gifted and talented young star and could be a centerpiece for many teams.
But it’s unlikely he will be that for the Cavs moving forward.
This is due to the fact that other guards, like Darius Garland, have stepped it up and become pivotal for the team during Sexton’s absence.
The Cavaliers know they could get a lot for Sexton but, so far, no team is offering much.
So they have chosen to lowball Sexton and hope they can work something out.
It feels like neither side of this deal is incredibly happy right now: Sexton wants to be valued and the team wants to spend money on someone they really need or instead find a team that will offer a lot in return.
