For a brief moment, the Cleveland Cavaliers were one of the most successful teams in the league.
In fact, there was a time when they had won 8 games in a row, taking down the likes of the Boston Celtics, New York Knicks, and others, one after the other.
But times have changed and while the Cavs are still a true force in the East and one of the most talked-about teams in the NBA, they are not doing as well.

They started with an 8-1 record, losing only to the Toronto Raptors on opening night.
However, the Cavs have come back down to Earth from those highs and have now lost 4 straight games.
There is some reason to be concerned with this spat of losses but fans shouldn’t be all doom and gloom just yet.
A Rough Patch, Not The End
No team can keep up a winning streak forever.
However, fans are unsatisfied by seeing their Cavs lose four in a row, especially since two of those losses were against the Golden State Warriors and Sacramento Kings, teams they easily should have beaten.
It is also concerning that Darius Garland posted 51 points against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Sunday – yet the team was still defeated.
The real test now is to see how head coach JB Bickerstaff and his crew right the wrongs, get back on track, and push forward.
All teams experience bad times and get into ruts, but they should be judged on how they overcome that.
There is no doubt that the team is supremely talented.
Now it’s time to see how they use that, focus again, and rebound.
Fans are not wanting to see four losses turn into five.
