The Cleveland Cavaliers are getting better and, because of that, they are getting more recognition.
The NBA released its official schedule for the 2022-23 season on Wednesday, giving fans insight into just who their favorite teams will play and when.
There weren’t many surprises in the schedule but there was something related to the Cavs that raised a couple of eyebrows.

It turns out that the Cavaliers are scheduled for nine national television games in the new season.
Last season, the team only appeared on ESPN and TNT just once, and those were both late-season matchups.
In the new season, they will be on both of those networks five times, plus four more games on NBA TV.
This all goes to show that even the league sees the Cavs are a team to watch.
The Biggest Spotlight
The Cavaliers, much like the New Orleans Pelicans and Memphis Grizzlies, are a scrappy team attracting a lot of new fans over the last few years.
Thanks to the hard work of Evan Mobley, Darius Garland, Jarrett Allen, and a slew of other names on the squad, people are seeing just how fun and talented this crew is.
Last season provided multiple examples of the talent of this team and that is why they are getting more games on national TV.
The NBA generally wants the best teams to be on the biggest stage, it’s better for ratings that way.
They put serious thought into which teams make it on TNT, ESPN, and other networks.
The fact that they are increasing the focus on the Cavaliers proves that it’s not just the Cleveland fans who are being won over by this up-and-coming group of young guys.
