The Cleveland Cavaliers are fresh off their third win in a row, with the most recent victory coming over the Atlanta Hawks.
The Hawks beat them in their first two meetings of the year, so it was an extra sweet win, knowing they knocked off a team they struggled against earlier in the season.
Cleveland continues to find ways to improve and adjust throughout games, a trait that could make them especially dangerous in the playoffs.
This win was also their third straight victory of 19+ points, winning most of their matchups in convincing fashion.
After this game, Cavs Notes on X pointed out that the Cavaliers had one of their best performances of the season, which included scoring their third-most points, logging their second-highest field goal percentage, and their fourth-best percentage from the free-throw line.
The @cavs offense tonight:
137 PTS (3rd-most this season)
.582 FG% (2nd-highest this season)
.900 FT% (4th-best this season)
35 AST (5th-most this season)
51 Bench PTS (6th-most this season)#LetEmKnow

Everything came up the Cavaliers’ way in this matchup, making the necessary adjustments against a team that took them down twice earlier in the year.
It will be interesting to see if they can keep up this pace throughout the year, and if they’ll maintain their position atop the Eastern Conference.
Teams like the Milwaukee Bucks, Boston Celtics, and New York Knicks have tried to overtake them, but to this point, they’ve had no luck.
The All-Star Break is rapidly approaching, and while the Cavaliers have a six-game lead over the next closest team in the conference, they’ll want to do everything they can to maintain, if not improve upon that lead.
