The Cleveland Cavaliers were already a force in the NBA this season.
Now, since they’ve added De’Andre Hunter, they’ve been almost unstoppable.
The team has yet to lose a single game since Hunter arrived in town, and he’s been a seamless fit in the frontcourt.
Notably, that was even more evident in a tweet shared by The Cavs Jack.
Per the league’s advanced stats, the Cavs have a net rating of +19.1 whenever De’Andre Hunter and Evan Mobley are on the court at the same time.
So far, they’ve posted a 121.7 offensive rating and a 102.6 defensive rating in 176 minutes together.

Those numbers are absolutely elite, and it’s no surprise to see that coach Kenny Atkinson has turned to Mobley and Hunter to close out games more often than not.
Unfortunately for Jarrett Allen, that usually means watching the end of games from the bench, but that has been better for the team.
Hunter gives this team so much more versatility on both ends of the floor.
He can shoot the ball from all three levels, and he can pull up over almost every defender in the league.
Then, he can lock down opposing wings on defense.
The Cavs are playing positionless basketball down the stretch, and that has made them an absolute nightmare.
They can switch one through five, and having two elite and long defenders like Mobley and Hunter on the floor at the same time has helped them get into some big runs when it matters the most.
