Over the last month, the Cleveland Cavaliers have gone on a strong run and have climbed all the way up to the second seed in the Eastern Conference.
That is because of multiple stars on the roster but there is no doubt that Donovan Mitchell has been a huge part of the team’s recent success.
According to StatMuse, Mitchell has had one of the best plus-minus scores in the league over the last month.
Anthony Edwards of the Minnesota Timberwolves has the best plus-minus with +115, while Kyrie Irving of the Dallas Mavericks is right behind him with +114.
Then there is Mitchell, who has +103, ahead of Luka Doncic and Stephen Curry, who both have a +100 score.

The plus-minus is a very complicated metric that essentially sums up the impact a player has on his team.
It’s a bit more in-depth and complex than simply looking at how many points someone is scoring and shows their overall influence.
However, if you do want to look at raw numbers, February has been quite kind to Mitchell.
He has averaged 29.1 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 5.9 assists per game during the last month, although he has sat out of the last two games.
Unsurprisingly, those games have not gone in Cleveland’s favor and they have suffered two consecutive losses for the first time since December.
Mitchell is out with an illness so there is a hope that he will be able to bounce back and join his team again for their game against the Washington Wizards on Sunday.
That should be an easy victory for the team and get them back on track.
Plus, it should also add to Mitchell’s impressive plus-minus score.
