The Cleveland Cavaliers keep rolling.
Even without Donovan Mitchell on the floor, Kenny Atkinson’s team still beat the Charlotte Hornets by double digits.
Notably, Darius Garland put on an offensive clinic during the win.
Not only did he score a team-best 25 points, but he also handed out 12 assists.
When asked about him, coach Atkinson gushed.
He emphasized that he is always making the right and unselfish play, which goes well beyond just scoring (via Cleveland Cavaliers).

The coach added that Garland has “the whole package.”
Garland’s rise has been one of the main catalysts behind this team’s surge.
He always showed the potential and talent to do so, but he rarely consistently did so.
He was timid at times, and it seemed that playing next to Donovan Mitchell was affecting his development.
That’s no longer the case, and the two have become one of the best and most explosive one-two punches in the league.
The Cavaliers are now riding a league-best 15-game winning streak.
They will put that on the line when they face the Boston Celtics on Tuesday night in the NBA Emirates Cup.
Whatever happens, they will still be in sole possession of the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference.
Then again, this will be their toughest match of the season yet, and it’ll be a barometer to determine where this team truly stands after the first 15 games of the campaign.
