The Cleveland Cavaliers are set to face the Portland Trail Blazers on Sunday afternoon and it could be an easy victory for them.
If they win, it’ll improve their overall record and it’ll also be a big moment for head coach Kenny Atkinson.
That’s because, as pointed out by Evan Dammarell, a win on Sunday will give Atkinson his first-ever home win against the Trail Blazers.
Plus, it would mean that Atkinson’s teams have defeated all 30 NBA squads at home.
Fun fact:
Sunday’s game against the Portland Trail Blazers will be a chance for #Cavs head coach Kenny Atkinson to get his first-ever home win against the Trail Blazers?
If Cleveland wins, Atkinson-coached teams will also have defeated all 30 NBA teams at home.

It is important to note that this statistic isn’t solely about the Cavaliers, but also about the previous teams that Atkinson led.
As fans remember, he was head coach for the Brooklyn Nets for four seasons.
Obviously, his time with the Cavaliers is far and away the most successful chapter of his career.
This is only his first year with the team and he has taken them to a very strong 48-10 record.
They are the best team in the league, the top of the East, and have a legitimate shot at pushing through the playoffs.
Plus, they are currently on an eight-game winning streak.
They want to continue that streak but will have to first face the Boston Celtics on Friday night.
If they can overpower them, they will be at nine wins when they square off against the Blazers on Sunday.
Portland is the 12th team in the West with a 26-33 record but they have been showing some serious signs of life lately, so a win over them isn’t guaranteed.
But if they can pull out the win, it’ll mean a lot for the Cavs and their beloved leader.
