The Cleveland Cavaliers weren’t projected to be the top team in the Eastern Conference this season, much less in the NBA.
Yet, they’ve been the first team to win ten games and are the only undefeated team left in the league.
Of course, some believe this is because of their somewhat easy schedule, even though they’ve already beaten the New York Knicks, Milwaukee Bucks (twice), and Golden State Warriors.
Even so, this team looks real.
However, Kenny Atkinson won’t be overconfident.
Following the win over the Chicago Bulls, the new coach admitted there are still questions about this team (Via FanDuel Sports Network Cleveland).

Even so, he also emphasized this group’s confidence, pointing out how they’ve proven people wrong since the day they got together in the gym.
The Cavaliers needed a change of direction.
J.B. Bickerstaff did a good job for the most part, but it seemed like the group wasn’t responding to him anymore and vice versa.
He also drew criticism for some of his adjustments, particularly in the playoffs.
Now, with Atkinson, who has a different approach to the game and is an offensive-minded coach, this team is taking all the great things they did in the past and taking them to a whole new level.
It’s still early, and it’s not realistic to expect this team to go undefeated for a full season.
Still, Cavs fans must be very excited and optimistic about this group.
